Pohuwato-Masyarakat asli Popayato Barat, Nazir Dunggio, mendesak Kapolda Gorontalo segera mengevaluasi dan mencopot Kapolsek Popayato Barat yang dinilai tidak memahami hukum dan etika jabatan.
“Peti di Popayato Barat sudah terang-terangan dan masif. Ini bukan lagi soal wilayah, tetapi soal fakta. Semua orang tahu, melihat, mendengar, bahkan ada yang sudah mengakui. Jangan pura-pura tidak tahu,” tegas Nazir.
Menurutnya, tidak semua data dapat dipublikasikan ke ruang publik. Dokumentasi, rekaman, transaksi, dan keterangan saksi akan disampaikan melalui mekanisme hukum.
“Jangan tunggu semua bukti kami buka di media. Data, dokumentasi, rekaman transaksi dan saksi akan kami buka di meja hukum dan dalam RDP nanti. Buzzer kepolisian bukan ukuran bahwa persoalan ini selesai itu baru ujung kuku,” ujarnya.
Nazir juga memperingatkan aparat agar tidak menjadikan masyarakat sebagai tameng untuk menutupi persoalan yang lebih besar.
“Jangan mau diperalat oleh mafia. Jangan rakyat dijadikan tameng, sementara pihak yang mengambil keuntungan justru dibiarkan. Kalau benar hukum ditegakkan, bongkar semuanya, bukan hanya menyentuh rakyat kecil,” tegasnya.
Ia menutup dengan tuntutan sederhana: copot jika tidak mampu menjalankan jabatan secara profesional, tegakkan hukum tanpa pandang bulu, dan buktikan kepada masyarakat bahwa Polri tidak tunduk kepada kepentingan siapa pun. (IR)
