Pohuwato – Pemerintah Kabupaten Pohuwato menaruh perhatian penuh terhadap perbaikan infrastruktur akibat dampak banjir di desa Teratai pada Sabtu akhir pekan lalu akibat hujan lebat dari siang sampai malam hari. Terbukti, sejak Senin (13/09/2021) kemarin, Pemkab Pohuwato telah mengerahkan alat berat untuk membersihkan drainase akibat tersumbat dengan lumpur tanah.
Untuk memastikan kegiatan pengerukan drainase, Selasa (14/09/2021) Bupati Saipul Mbuinga di dampingi Kadis Perkim Anwar Sadat turun langsung memantau pekerjaan drainase di kompleks kantor Desa Teratai. Pemantauan dilakukan di kompleks kantor Desa Teratai merupakan salah satu lokasi yang cukup banyak rumah yang terendam air.
Alhasil, pembukaan dan pembersihan drainase tersebut berhasil, karena saat ini air sudah mengalir menuju pembuangan yang ada di jalan menuju desa Bulangita. Pembersihan drainase juga dilakukan di Dusun Bihe Desa Teratai, karena sebagian besar drainse sudah tertimbun. Sebelumnya juga Bupati Saipul meninjau pengerukan saluran di simpang tiga menuju rusunawa.
Selanjutnya Bupati Saipul meninjau halaman BPN Pohuwato yang masih terendam termasuk halaman Samsat dan Polres Pohuwato. Kemudian menuju Dusun Mekar Jaya Desa Teratai, kurang lebih sepuluh rumah yang berada di depan hotel Golden Sri itu menjadi langganan banjir ketika terjadi luapan air dari saluran yang ada di dekat hunian mereka.
Di dua tempat tersebut telah tersedia mesin alkon untuk mengisap genangan air yang masih tersisa.
Bupati Saipul menjelaskan bahwa pembersihan drainase sampai pada pengisapan air genangan ini adalah antisipasi pemerintah terhadap masyarakat. “Agar drainase atau saluran dijaga kebersihannya dan jangan ditimbun, karena ketika musim penghujan seperti ini terjadi sudah pasti akan masuk ke rumah warga,” Ujar Bupati Saipul.
