Minahasa-Penjabat Bupati Minahasa, Dr Jemmy S. Kumendong, M.Si,menghadiri Ibadah Syukur Perayaan HUT Ke-14 Pentahbisan Gedung Kantor dan Pastori GMIM wilayah Tondano IV.
Ibadah pentahbisan dipimpin oleh Ketua BPMS GMIM, Pdt Hein Arina Thd yang ditandai dengan penekanan tombol sirene papan nama serta penyerahan kunci dan pembukaan pintu gedung.
Selanjutnya ibadah syukur dirangkaikan perayaan Natal Yesus Kristus dilangsungkan di Gereja GMIM Siloam Tonsea Lama.
Khadim Pdt Hein Arina Thd, dalam khotbahnya melalui pembacaan Alkitab Mazmur 85:11-14, demikian bunyinya (85-11) Kasih dan kesetiaan akan bertemu, keadilan dan damai sejahtera akan bercium-ciuman.
(85-12) Kesetiaan akan tumbuh dari bumi, dan keadilan akan menjenguk dari langit.
(85-13) Bahkan TUHAN akan memberikan kebaikan, dan negeri kita akan memberi hasilnya. (85-14) Keadilan akan berjalan di hadapan-Nya, dan akan membuat jejak kaki-Nya menjadi jalan.
Dalam sambutan Bupati Kumendong, M. Si menyampaikan selamat bersyukur bagi jemaat. “Tentunya fasilitas yang sudah diresmikan dapat di jaga dan digunakan sebaik baiknya.” Ucap Bupati Kumendong.
Bupati Minahasa berharap Jemaat juga dapat terus mendukung program pemerintah. “Ditengah suasana Natal dan memasuki tahun politik ini, hindarilah segala bentuk perpecahan dan perselisihan yang hanya akan merusak suasana kenyamanan dan ketenteraman. ketenteraman.” Ujar Bupati.
Bupati Kumendong meminta peran aktif Pelsus, jemaat dan masyarakat serta pemerintah sangat penting dan strategi.
“Tak lupa juga menghimbau dan mengajak masyarakat Minahasa untuk mensukseskan Pemilu 2024 dengan menjaga keamanan dan kedamaian serta ikut berpartisipasi dalam menggunakan hak pilih di hari pelaksanaan pemungutan suara tanggal 14 Februari 2024.” Pungkas Bupati. (Ronny).
