Amurang – Bupati Tetty Paruntu meminta kepada seluruh Camat, Lurah dan Hukum Tua untuk mewaspadai dan tidak terlibat dalam aksi people power pada Rabu (22/05). Apalagi pada hari itu Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU RI) akan menetapkan hasil rekapitulasi suara pemilihan Presiden (Pilpres) dan Pemilihan Legislatif (Pileg) 2019.
“Saya minta seluruh Camat,Lurah dan Hukum tua di Minahasa Selatan harus antisipasi, mengingat ada ancaman people power pasca pengumuman KPU tanggal 22 Mei,” ujar Bupati Tetty Paruntu.
Menurutnya, hasil apapun yang nanti keluar pasca rekapitulasi akhir oleh KPU harus dihormati dan dihargai. Sebab hasil tersebut merupakan pilihan rakyat.
“Persatuan dan kesatuan kita sebagai bangsa harus digaris bawahi. Itu yang paling penting dan menolak ajakan people power,” tegas Bupati Tetty Paruntu.
Selain itu,Bupati Tetty Paruntu mengingatkan kepada seluruh masyarakat Minsel untuk lebih meningkatkan kewaspadaan terhadap warga asing yang masuk di wilayah Minsel.
“Apabila masyarakat melihat ada gerakan yang mencurigakan apalagi dari orang asing, segera melapor kepada pemerintah setempat dan pihak berwajib,” ujar Bupati Tetty Paruntu. (Kiki Liando)
