Sulut – Bank SulutGo (BSG) sebagai Bank Daerah terus aktif membantu pemerintah dalam menghadapi dampak pandemi covid-19 terhadap masyarakat.
Direktur Utama BSG, Jeffry Dendeng, didampingi Direktur Umum, Revino Pepah, menjelaskan pihaknya kali ini memberikan bantuan kepada 1872 pekerja disektor perhotelan yang dirumahkan bahkan pemutusan hubungan kerja akibat terdampak covid-19.
“Jadi kali ini BSG memberikan bantuan bahan pokok kepada 1872 orang pekerja yang tersebar pada 18 hotel di daerah ini. Jumlah tersebut berdasarkan data dari pengurus hotel. Situasi pandemi covid-19 sehingga banyak dari mereka yang dirumahkan. Kami berharap bantuan ini dapat membantu meringankan beban kebutuhan ekonomi mereka,” urai Dirut BSG, Jeffry Dendeng.
“Sesuai anjuran Pak Gubernur untuk budayakan Mapalus, harus saling support moril maupun materil dan mendoakan agar kita semua bisa segera keluar dari masa sulit ini.” Tambahnya.
Direktur Umum, Revino Pepah, menambahkan bantuan BSG akan terus disalurkan kepada berbagai pihak yang terdampak covid-19. Diketahui sebelumnya bantuan BSG juga telah disalurkan kepada lintas sektor, diantaranya tiga ribuan ojek online, delapan ribuan pensiunan dan media.
Terkait bantuan BSG ini, Ketua PHRI Sulit, Nico Lieke, menghaturkan terima kasih atas perhatian ‘Torang Pe Bank’ terhadap pekerja perhotelan yang terdampak covid-19. “Bantuan ini menjadi penyemangat bagi kami,” ujar Lieke. (*)
