Amurang – Bupati Minahasa Selatan Dr Christiany Eugenia Paruntu SE, (CEP) menyerahkan bantuan sembako dari Pemerintah Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan secara simbolis kepada masyarakat yang terkena dampak pandemi Covid-19 di Kecamatan Modoinding dan Maesaan.
“Bantuan dari dana Covid-19 ini saya serahkan kepada 26.770 kepala keluarga se-Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan dan saya berharap agar semua element masyarakat membantu Pemerintah mengawasi penyaluran bantuan ini agar tepat sasaran dan bisa membantu keluarga yang terkena dampak pandemi Covid-19” kata Bupati CEP saat menyerahkan secara langsung bantuan kepada masyarakat. Jumat (24/04/2020).
Selain memberikan sembako bantuan pemerintah untuk masyarakat terdampak Covid – 19 di wilayah Kecamatan Modoinding, Bupati CEP juga sempat memberikan himbauan untuk masyarakat terkait bagaimana tindakan pencegahan terhadap virus corona. Dan juga mengharapkan kepada masyarakat untuk mentaati anjuran dari pemerintah. Seperti phisical distancing,dan sering mencuci tangan, memakai masker. Serta meningkatkan penjagaan di tiap-tiap desa untuk para pendatang yang berasal dari daerah luar.
“Mari kita perangi bersama penyebaran virus Covid – 19 dengan tidak melakukan kumpul-kumpul, tidak melakukan perjalanan keluar kota ataupun ke luar negeri, selain itu jangan lupa pake masker dan sering cuci tangan.Untuk sementara dirumah saja dulu untuk kebaikan bersama dan terus berdoa, agar covid -19 segera berlalu.”ucap Bupati CEP.
Pada kesempatan ini juga Bupati CEP meninjau posko Covid-19 yang ada di pintu masuk perbatasan Minsel Bolmong di Palelon-Insil.
“Saya sudah rindu menyapa dan melihat keadaan masyarakat Minahasa Selatan,” ujar Bupati CEP ketika tiba di salah satu posko perbatasan Modoinding desa Linelean.
