Minsel-Desa Tumpaan salah satu desa yang mendapat piagam penghargaan Juara 1 Lomba Evaluasi Tingkat Perkembangan Desa Tingkat Kecamatan, dan saat ini Desa Tumpaan dipercayakan untuk mengikuti jenjang yang lebih tinggi lagi yaitu ke tingkat kabupaten.
Kendati Desa Tumpaan belum lama di pimpin oleh Hukum Tua Devinitif pilihan rakyat, Velma Lumempow telah membuktikan bahwa ia mampu mengubah wujud desa Tumpaan tercinta ke arah yang lebih baik.
“Juara 1 tidaklah mudah di dapat karena banyak hal yang harus dilakukan baik dari segi administrasi dan pelayanan masyarakat serta pembangunan infrastruktur yang memadai untuk kepentingan dan kebutuhan masyarakat.”Ucap Lumempow.
Kepada wartawan media ini,Lumempow menyatakan bahwa hasil yang didapat saat ini yaitu mendapat penghargaan dari pemerintah kecamatan, atas capaian perkembangan desa tingkat kecamatan semata-mata karena peran masyarakat dan kerjasama yang baik sehingga bisa tercapai. ‘Kami akan mempersiapkan lagi untuk mengikuti tingkat kabupaten.” Tandas Lumempow.
