Manado – Dalam upaya pencegahan penyebaran covid-19 di Kota Manado, Walikota DR. Ir. GS Vicky Lumentut, SH, M.Si, DEA, telah mengeluarkan intruksi lewat surat edaran Nomor : 503/D. 12/PEMDAL-PTSP/222/2020, yang point pertama dalam surat edaran menyebutkan ” Tempat Hiburan Malam, Spa, Pusat Olahraga ( Fitness Centre, Gym dan lain-lain) dan Toko Jualan Pakaian serta usaha sejenis agar ditutup sementara waktu sampai dengan 12 April 2020.
” Tidak menyebutkan, Toko Ritel, Warung Sembako dan tempat jualan makanan juga ditutup, demikian disampaikan Kabag Pem-Humas Kota Manado, Drs. Sonny Takumansang, M.Si. Selasa (31/03/2020) hari ini.
Kabag Pem-Humas Kota Manado ini, menegaskan kabar tentang toko -toko usaha sembako dan warung sembako di tutup itu merupakan berita hoaks atau belum pasti kebenarannya dari sumber yang tidak jelas.
“Masyarakat jangan panik, berita usaha sembako dan warung sembako ditutup lagi itu kabar hoaks dari sumber yang tidak jelas,” tegasnya.
Namun, ditambahkan, Kabag Pem-Humas untuk usaha sembako dan warung sembako, rumah makan termasuk toko ritel, yang menjual aneka kebutuhan sehari – hari masyarakat, baik itu, minimarket dan swalayan, untuk tetap mematuhi semua protokol kesehatan penanganan pencegahan dan penyebaran covid-19 di Kota Manado, dengan menyediakan tempat cuci tangan dengan air yang mengalir dan sabun, hand sanitizer, juga jaga jarak.
