Manado – Wali Kota Manado Andrei Angouw di dampingi Kepala Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Manado Frangky Porawouw mengunjungi Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) Sumompo, Kamis (06/01/2021).
Dalam kunjungan ini, Wali Kota memantau langsung kondisi TPA serta aktivitas kendaraan truk sampah dalam membongkar aduk sampah.
Selain itu, Wali Kota juga melihat kondisi infrastruktur termasuk alat-alat berat yang sudah tidak berfungsi dan dalam kondisi rusak.
“Semoga kondisi TPA sumompo dapat menampung sampah-sampah yang berasal dari 11 kecamatan di Kota Manado,” Ujar Wali Kota.
Seperti diketahui bahwa TPA Sampah Sumompo merupakan tempat pembuangan Akhir sampah-sampah di Kota Manado. Sampah-sampah ini berasal dari sampah rumah tangga/rumah-rumah penduduk, dikumpul oleh petugas pengumpul sampah tingkat lingkungan, tingkat Kelurahan-kelurahan ke tingkat Kecamatan. Dari Kecamatan sampah yang terkumpul diangkut oleh truk sampah Kecamatan untuk dibawah ke TPA Sumompo. (Mal)
