Manado – Wali Kota Manado Andre Angouw menutup kegiatan Sekolah Kader Pengawas Partisipatif yang dilaksanakan di NDC Molas Manado. Sabtu (11/09/2021).
Kegiatan ini merupakan program Badan Pengawas Pemilu (BAWASLU) Republik Indonesia yang berlangsung 9 sampai 11 September 2021 dan diikuti 80 peserta hasil seleksi dari 400 an pendaftar.
Kegiatan ini diikuti peserta dari Manado, Sitaro, dan Minahasa yang dibuka oleh pimpinan Bawaslu RI , Mohamad Afifudin.
Wali Kota Andrei sangat mendukung kegiatan ini dan berharap para peserta bisa menjaga demokrasi yang sangat baik saat ini di provinsi Sulut dan khususnya kota Manado.
Selain dihadiri jajaran Bawaslu Sulut dan Kabupaten Kota di Sulut, kegiatan ini dihadiri juga oleh Kapolres Manado, Kajari dan Dandim 1302 Manado.
Ketua Bawaslu Sulut Herwyn Malonda yang didampingi Kenly Poluan serta Bawaslu Manado Marwan Kawinda, Heard Runtuwene dan Taufik Bilfaqih memberikan kepada Wali Kota Manado buku hasil pengawasan Pemilu 2019 lalu khususnya dampak pemilu bagi Lingkungan dengan judul “Green Constitution”. (*/JM)
