Tahuna-Wakil Bupati kepulauan Sangihe Tendris Bulahari jadi inspektur upacara (Irup) dan membacakan pidato tertulis Menteri Kominfo Meutia Hafid, pada upacara bendera, Peringatan Hari Kebangkitan Nasional (Harkitnas), 20 Mei dihalaman kantor Bupati Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe, Selasa (20/5/25).
Wakil Bupati Bulahari saat membacakan pidato menteri mengatakan, 117 tahun yang lalu, di tengah keterbatasan dan tekanan kolonialisme, lahirlah sebuah kesadaran baru yang menyalakan api perubahan. Melalui pendirian Budi Utomo, bangsa ini mulai membangun keyakinan bahwa nasib tidak boleh selamanya digantungkan kepada kekuatan asing; bahwa kemajuan hanya mungkin dicapai bila kita bangkit berdiri di atas kekuatan kita sendiri.
“Namun, kebangkitan itu bukanlah sebuah peristiwa yang selesai dalam satu masa. Kebangkitan adalah ikhtiar yang terus hidup. la menuntut kita untuk tidak terjebak dalam romantisme masa lalu, tetapi menuntut keberanian untuk menjawab tantangan zaman ini, zaman yang menghadirkan ujian jauh lebih kompleks: disrupsi teknologi, ketegangan geopolitik, krisis pangan global, dan ancaman terhadap kedaulatan digital kita,”ucap Bulari yang membacakan sambutan Menteri Kominfo.
Setelah pelaksanaan upacara bendera yang berlangsung khidmat itu, Wakil Bupati didampingi Ny.Agnes Bulahari-Walukow S.E ziarah ke taman makan pahlawan Santiago. Disana Bulahari melaksanakan agenda ziarah dan melakukan prosesi tabur bunga.(*)
