Asahan-Wakil Bupati Asahan Taufik Zainal Abidin Siregar, S. Sos, M. Si menabur benih bibit ikan alam (Restocking) di Tangkahan Sungai Asahan Pisangbinaya Kecamatan Teluk Dalam, Senin (22/07/2024).
Tampak hadir Kepala Dinas Perikanan Kabupayen Asahan, Camat Teluk Dalam, Forkopincam, Kepala Desa Teluk Dalam, Ketua AMPA Kabupaten Asahan serta tamu hadirin lainnya
Laporan Ketua panitia Ali Daruzah Sitorus mengatakan Restocking ikan merupakan penebaran benih ikan spesies asli yang bertujuan untuk menjaga kelestarian spesies tersebut. Restocking merupakan upaya peningkatan pemanfaatan sumberdaya perairan dan kelestarian lingkungan. “Adapun jumlah penaburan benih bibit ikan ini berjumlah 20.000 bibit ikan yang terdiri dari ikan jurung, baung, Tawes, ikan nila, Gurami”, ujarnya
Sementara itu Wakil Bupati Asahan dalam sambutannya mengajak masyarakat secara bergotong royong untuk menjaga kelestarian sungai agar pertumbuhan ikan yang ditebar dapat berkembang dengan baik.
Wakil juga bilang penaburan bibit ini juga merupakan dukungan Pemkab Asahan kepada masyarakat Desa memperoleh gizi yang baik serta mengembangkan kewirausahaan warga.
“Tadi ada ribuan bibit ikan ditaburkan di sungai Asahan, semoga budidaya ikan lele terus berhasil dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat,” Tandasnya. (*BoS)
