Asahan –Wakil Bupati Asahan Taufik Zainal Abidin Siregar, S. Sos, M. Si menyerahkan bantuan kepada kelompok tani di Aula Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Asahan, Selasa (13/12/2022).
Dalam laporannya, Kepala Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Asahan Ir. Oktoni Eryanto, MMA menyampaikan, tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk mendukung upaya peningkatan produksi dan percepatan Swasembada pangan dalam mewujudkan kedaulatan pangan dan mensejahterakan petani. “bantuan ini bersumber dari dana APBN dan APBD Kab. Asahan dan diserahkan kepada 8 kelompok tani. Adapun jenis bantuan berupa traktor roda dua”, ujar Oktoni.
Sementara Wakil bupati Asahan pada bimbingan dan arahannya mengatakan, penyerahan bantuan ini merupakan bentuk komitmen Pemerintah Kabupaten Asahan dalam sektor pertanian yaitu mewujudkan kemandirian ekonomi dengan menggerakkan sektor-sektor strategis ekonomi domestik serta menitik beratkan upaya untuk mewujudkan kedaulatan pangan dan mensejahterakan petani.
Selanjutnya Wakil Bupati mengatakan, Pemerintah Kabupaten Asahan melalui Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Asahan terus berupaya meningkatkan produksi para petani melalui pembinaan, penyuluhan dan pemberian bantuan sarana dan prasarana pertanian untuk percepatan swasembada pangan.
Terakhir Wakil Bupati berharap kepada kelompok tani penerima bantuan agar terus menjaga dan merawat dengan baik serta memanfaakan bantuan alat mesin pertanian yang di terima untuk kepentingan kelompok tani di wilayah masing masing. (*/Tumbur)
