Pohuwato-Wakil Bupati Pohuwato, Suharsi Igirisa menerima kunjungan Tim Kerja P2P Malaria, Kemenkes RI, di ruang kerja, Kamis (13/7/2023).
Hadir dalam pertemuan itu, Ahli Apedimiologi Kesehatan Kemenkes RI, Hariyanto, Ahli Malaria Kemekes RI, Drs. Supriyadi Sardjono, Anggota Tim Kerja Malaria Kemenkes RI, Safira Dwidantri, Kepala Bidang PDPL Dikes Provinsi Gorontalo, dr. Jene Istantu Dalie, Kasi Surveilans dan Imunisasi Dikes Provinsi Gorontalo, dr. Trisye K. Mile, Ketua Tim Kerja P2PMPTM Dikes Provinsi Gorontalo, Iswan Ahmad.
Wabup Suharsi Igirisa didampingi Staf Ahli Bupati, Zulkifli Umar menyampaikan terima kasih atas kunjungan tim Kemenkes RI di Kabupaten Pohuwato atas atensi dan perhatiannya terhadap penanganan penyakit malaria.
Selaku pemerintah daerah, Suharsi berharap kiranya tidak hanya fokus pada penanganan terhadap malaria, namun juga kepada penanganan dan pencegahan terhadap penyakit lainya.
“Program utama kita (Pemerintahan SMS) fokus pada kesehatan, sehingga kiranya bisa kita sinkronkan lewat kunjungan Kemenkes RI terutama terkait teknis pananganan malaria dan juga terhadap tindakan dan pencegahanya”,ujar Wabup Suharsi.
Sementara itu, Ahli Apedimiologi Kesehatan Kemenkes RI, Hariyanto menjelaskan, kunjungan kami sekaligus menyampaikan kepada pemerintah daerah bahwa untuk Kabupaten Pohuwato telah dinyatakan daerah yang bebas malaria dan telah memiliki Sertifikat Eliminasi Malaria dari Kemenkes RI.
“Pada intinya salah satu tujuan utama kedatangan tim ini untuk mewujudkan Indonesia bebas malaria pada tahun 2030, meski Kabupaten Pohuwato telah dinyatakan bebas malaria, namun masih menjadi salah satu daerah yang dinilai”, tuturnya.(*)
