Dr. J. Victor Mailangkay, SH, MH,saat melayat di rumah duka
Sulut – Wakil Ketua DPRD Sulawesi Utara Dr. J. Victor Mailangkay, SH, MH melayat ke rumah duka Alm. Emile August Kalalo, SH di Tontalete, Minahasa Utara, Sabtu (30/4/2022).
Almarhum adalah ayahanda dari Dr. Flora Kalalo, SH, MH Mantan Dekan Fakultas Hukum Universitas Sam Ratulangi periode 2018-2022.
Mailangkay pada kesempatan tersebut menyampaikan belangsungkawa atas meninggalnya bapak Emile yang adalah mantan Hakim tinggi, orang tua dari mantan Dekan Fakultas Hukum Unsrat.
“Baik atas nama pribadi, maupun atas nama Keluarga Mailangkay Kalalo mengucapkan Turut Berdukacita,” Ucap Ketua DPW NasDem Sulut ini.
Mailangkay juga mengatakan Bapak Emile August Kalalo, SH adalah sosok Hakim yang berintegritas tinggi dan sangat disayang banyak orang karena kebaikannya.
“Sebab tidak ada seorang pun di antara kita yang hidup untuk dirinya sendiri, dan tidak ada seorangpun yang mati untuk dirinya sendiri. Sebab jika kita hidup, kita hidup untuk Tuhan, dan jika kita mati, kita mati untuk Tuhan. Jadi, baik hidup atau mati, kita adalah milik Tuhan. Sebab itulah Kristus telah mati dan hidup kembali, supaya Ia menjadi Tuhan, baik atas orang – orang mati, maupun atas orang – orang hidup,” Kutip Mailangkay dari dalam ayat Alkitab Roma 14: 7-9.
