Minut-Pemerintah Kabupaten Minahasa Utara melalui Tim Reaksi Cepat (TRC) Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Minut, memberikan respons sigap terhadap bencana pohon tumbang di Kampung Ambon, Kecamatan Likupang Timur. Selasa (16/01/2024).
Peristiwa ini menyebabkan satu (1) unit rumah warga rusak berat. Adapun Kaban BPBD Theodore Lumingkewas dan timnya tidak menyia-nyiakan waktu, segera tiba di lokasi untuk melakukan penanganan dengan dukungan TNI dan solidaritas masyarakat.
“Setelah mendapatkan informasi dari masyarakat pagi tadi pukul 09.01 menit, atas instruksi Bupati dan Wakil Bupati, saya bersama tim langsung menuju lokasi membantu korban terdampak,” kata Lumingkewas.
Sesuai instruksi dari Bupati dan Wakil Bupati mendorong kehadiran mereka, menunjukkan sinergi dalam membantu korban terdampak.
Selain membersihkan batang pohon yang merusak rumah, bantuan dari Bupati Joune Ganda juga turut diserahkan untuk memperkuat kebersamaan dalam mengatasi musibah.
Kronologi kejadian, dipicu oleh cuaca ekstrim, memberikan peringatan kepada masyarakat untuk berhati-hati selama kondisi cuaca tidak stabil dan menghubungi Call Center 112 untuk informasi terkait kebencanaan. (*)
