Bitung, Redaksisulut – Wali Kota Bitung, Ir. Maurits Mantiri, MM hadiri kegiatan penyerahan Corporate Social Trsponsibility (CSR) Program dari PT. Mapalus Makawanua Charcoal Industry di 3 Sekolah yang ada di Tanjung Merah. Selasa, (27/9/2022).
Dalam kesempatan, Wali Kota didampingi Asisten 2, Kadis Pendidikan, Kabag SDA, Camat dan Lurah Setempat, Stafsus yang membidangi dan TP3 Sepakat yang membidangi.
Sementara itu Kepala Bagian Sumber Daya Alam Dr.Niki S. kondo, SSTP, M.Ec.Dev menyampaikan dalam laporanya, bahwa ini merupakan kegiatan sinergi dan kolaborasi yang di inisiasi oleh PT Mapalus Kawanua Charcoral Industry yang di fasilitasi oleh Pemerintah Kota Bitung.
Adapun rincian bantuan paket lengkap pendidikan dan alat alat pendidikan yang di berikan ke 3 sekolah yaitu SD Gmim 25 Tanjung Merah dan SDN Inpres 783 Tanjung Merah, dan SMP 18 Satu Atap Tanjung Merah dengan total 52 juta rupiah.
“Secara umum bahwa Program CSR untuk Kota Bitung sendiri, diarahkan untuk Program Pendidikan, Kesehatan, Infrastruktur, Sosial Budaya, Pariwisata, Keagamaan dan Pelayanan Publik”. Katanya.
Sementara itu, Wali Kota Bitung meyampaikan terima kasih kepada Pihak perusahaan bahwa kegiatan sosial ini bukan saja baru dilakukan, namun sudah sering dilakukan sehingga boleh menjadi Culture Perusahaan.
“Terima kasih sudah melaksanakan kegiatan ini dan untuk fokus Pemerintah Kota Bitung sendiri saat ini adalah Pendidikan dan Kesehatan”. Kata Maurits.
