Sitaro-Sebagai salah rangkaian satu tahapan Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada), Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kabupaten Sitaro melaksanakan Tes Medical check up (MCU) atau Tes Kesehatan kepada Bakal Pasangan Calon (Bapaslon) Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Kabupaten Sitaro, Evangelian Sasingen-Liem Hong Eng dan Chyntia Inggrid Kalangit-Heronimus Makainas.
Ketua Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kabupaten Sitaro, Stevanus Kaaro, mengungkapkan bahwasanya kedua Bapaslon sudah mengikuti tahapan tersebut, ia juga mengatakan bahwasanya seluruh tahapan dilakukan dengan lancar.
“Tiga hari pelaksaan semua berjalan dengan lancar, dan para Bapaslon pun sudah menyelesaikan tahapannya,” Ungkap Kaaro, dalam konferensi pers,Jumat (06/09/2024).
Usai tahapan pemeriksaan tes kesehatan tersebut, pihaknya akan menunggu hasil yang terlebih dahulu akan diplenokan oleh pihak RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. “Akan di plenokan oleh RS, setelah itu hasilnya baru diberikan kepada kami,” ungkapnya.
Kaaro menegaskan, hasil pemeriksaan kesehatan akan menjadi bagian dari verifikasi syarat administratif yang harus dipenuhi oleh masing-masing Bapaslon sebelum ditetapkan sebagai calon resmi.
“Setelah ini, kami akan melanjutkan proses verifikasi administrasi untuk menetapkan pasangan calon yang berhak bertarung dalam Pilkada mendatang,”Pungkas Kaaro.
Pilkada Kabupaten Kepulauan Sitaro, atau yang dikenal juga sebagai Kepulauan Karangetang Mandolokang Kolo-Kolo, diperkirakan akan berlangsung ketat, dengan dua pasangan calon yang sama-sama memiliki basis kekuatan yang sangat militan. (*Herka)
