Minut-Warga Minahasa Utara sebentar lagi bisa bernapas lega. Pemerintah Kabupaten Minahasa Utara (Pemkab Minut) di bawah kepemimpinan Bupati Joune Ganda menyiapkan layanan hemodialisa (cuci darah) di RSUD Maria Walanda Maramis, Airmadidi.
Langkah ini menjadi terobosan penting di sektor kesehatn, mengingat keterbatasan fasilitas cuci darah di Sulawesi Utara selama ini membuat pasien gagal ginjal harus menunggu hingga larut malam untuk mendapatkan perawatan.
Direktur RSUD Maria Walanda Maramis, dr. Alain Beyah, mengungkapkan, antrian panjang di rumah sakit rujukan di Manado menjadi pemicu utama dibukanya layanan ini.
“Banyak pasien yang hrus datang pagi-pagi dan baru mendapat giliran malam hari. Itu membuat beban pasien semakin berat,” tegasnya.
Menariknya, pengadaan fasilitas cuci darah ini tidak menggunakan dana APBD. RSUD bekerja sama dengan pihak ketiga, dan dari empat vendor yang mengajukan penawaran, satu dipilih karena bersedia menanggung penyediaan alat, tenaga medis, dan seluruh kelengkapan layanan.
“Rumah sakit hanya menyiapkan lokasi. Semua peralatan dan SDM sudah disediakan oleh vendor terpilih,” jelas dr. Alain.
Persiapan fasilitas kini hampir rampung dan ditargetkan beroperasi mulai 2026. Dengan hadirnya layanan ini, warga Minut tak lagi harus menempuh perjalanan jauh atau menunggu antrian panjang untuk cuci darah.
Langkah Pemkab Minut ini menegaskan komitmen Joune Ganda untuk memastikan akses kesehatan yang lebih merata, sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat tanpa membebani anggaran daerah. (T3)
