Bitung, Redaksisulut – Wali Kota Bitung, Ir. Maurits Mantiri, MM terima Audiensi UNHCR (Komisioner Tinggi Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa untuk Pengungsi atau Komisariat Tinggi Urusan Pengungsi). Rabu, (10/8/2022).
Dalam pertemuan membahas tentang kewarganegaraan, dimana proses perubahan status dari penduduk asing menjadi warga negara Indonesia.
Wali Kota Bitung mengatakan bahwa, Pemerintah Kota Bitung akan menindaklanjuti pertemuan ini dan akan berkoordinasi dengan semua pihak terkait penanganannya.
“Untuk proses ini harus terlebih dahulu memenuhi beberapa persyaratan yang ditentukan dalam peraturan kewarganegaraan negara”. Katanya.
