Kolonodale – Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Cabang Morowali Utara kembali melaksanakan aksi donor darah bertepatan dengan HUT ke-8 Kabupaten Morowali Utara.
Donor darah ini merupakan yang ke delapan kalinya sejak kepengurusan PMI Morut dibentuk pertengahan tahun 2021.
Pengambilan darah yang berlangsung di Ruang Pola Kantor Bupati Morut Delis Julkarson Hehi dilakukan seusai kegiatan sepeda santai mengelilingi kota Kolonodale. Kamis (21/10/2021),
Bupati Delis termasuk salah seorang yang mendonorkan darahnya. Tiga bulan yang lalu, Bupati juga ikut donor darah yang dilaksanakan PMI Morut dan ini merupakan Kado istimewa di HUT Morut, sehingga dapat membantu masyarakat yang membutuhkan darah.
Seperti peserta aksi donor darah lainnya, Bupati Delis juga mengikuti skrining dari petugas untuk mengetahui apakah yang bersangkutan cukup sehat dan layak untuk mendonorkan darahnya.
“Setetes darah kita sangat bernilai untuk membantu saudara-saudara kita yang membutuhkan,” ujarnya sambil berbaring ditempat yang sudah disediakan.
Petugas transfusi darah dari RSUD Kolonodale kemudian menjalankan tugasnya.
PMI Morut dibawah kendali ketuanya Febriyanthi DJ Hehi tergolong paling aktif melakukan aksi donor darah.
Aksi donor darah pertama dilakukan pada 16 Juni 2021. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya dilakukan di kota Kolonodale tapi juga di beberapa kecamatan. Banyak pasien rumah sakit yang tertolong dengan aksi sosial yang dilakukan PMI Morut selama ini. (*/Johnny)
