MINAHASA – Bupati Minahasa Dr. Ir. Royke Octavian Roring, M.SI. IPU. Asean. Eng bersama Wakil Bupati Minahasa Robby Dondokambey, SSi dan Forkopimda Minahasa meninjau lokasi Bukit Marawas menuju jalan Papakelan sampai Makawembeng. Kamis, (14/01/2021).
Hadir bersama bupati, Forkopimda Minahasa, Asisten Pemerintahan dan Kesra, Asisten Perekonomian dan Pembangunan, Kadis Pekerjaan Umum, Kadis Lingkungan Hidup, camat Tondano Timur, Kabag Prokopim, Kabag SDA.
Bupati ROR menyampaikan peninjauan ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui penyebab terjadinya longsor dan banjir di kelurahan Papakelan.
“Selain itu juga kami Forkompimda melakukan penghijauan di lokasi tersebut yaitu menanam pohon agar bisa menahan longsor tersebut.” Ujar Bupati ROR.
Sementara di tempat yamg sama Wakil Bupati RD juga mengatakan kedatangan kami di lokasi untuk mencari tahu apa yang menjadi penyebab sehingga terjadinya rawan banjir dan tanah longsor di lokasi tersebut.Saya berharap kedepan tidak akan terjadi lagi pristiwa yang lalu.
“Tentunya Lewat penanaman pohon pasti akan membantu agar tidak terjadi lagi banjir dan longsor. Atas nama pemerintah kabupaten Minahasa kami sangat mengapresiasi masyarakat untuk menjaga lokasi ini dan terus melakukan tindakan dan melaporkan apabila akan terjadinya banjir dan longsor di lokasi Ini. ” Ucapnya.
