Pohuwato – Wakil Bupati Pohuwato Suharsi Igirisa, meresmikan gedung Badan Nasional Pencarian dan Pertolongan (Basarnas), berlokasi di kompleks perkantoran Pemda Pohuwato di Desa Pohuwato Timur.Rabu (26/10/2022).
Dalam sambutannya Wabup Suharsi mengatakan bahwa pemerintah kabupaten Pohuwato berkomitmen terhadap keselamatan seluruh masyarakat dalam setiap aktivitas sehari-hari.
“Sesuai dengan hasil koordinasi kami sebelumnya bahwa Basarnas akan melakukan peresmian gedung sebagaimana kita saksikam bersama, tentunya mewakili pemerintah daerah kami sangat mendukung penuh apa yang menjadi kegiatan Basarnas,”ungkap Wabup Suharsi.
Dijelaskan Wabup Suharsi, sebagai bentuk perhatian, pemerintah daerah akan berupaya semaksimal mungkin untuk mengambil langkah kongkrit dengan berkoordinasi dengan kantor pencarian dan pertolongan atau basarnas.
“Semoga keberadaan basarnas ini dapat memudahkan pemerintah dan masyarakat Pohuwato dalam hal apa yang menjadi tugas pokok basarnas itu sendiri,”ujar Wabup Suharsi.
Sementara itu Kepala Kantor Basarnas Provinsi Gorontalo, Imade Junerta menambahkan, pembangunan basarnas di pohuwato ini tujuannya agar dapat memberikan pelayanan terbaik kepada masyarakat dan mempercepat respon tanggap dari masyarakat itu sendiri.
“Jika terjadi sesuatu yang tidak kita inginkan, dengan waktu 28 menit dari informasi yang kami dapatkan maka bakal berkoordinasi langsung dengan jajaran dengan TNI/Polri dan instansi lainnya,”katanya.
Dengan keterbatasan yang dimiliki oleh personil basarnas kata Junerta, maka akan berkolaborasi dengan pihak lain, sehingga tantangan dan respon cepat dari masyarakat akan terjawab secara maksimal. (*/Has)
