Deprov-Anggota Pansus Pertambangan DPRD Provinsi Gorontalo Limonu Hippy menyatakan hampir semua wilayah tambang di Bone Bolango yang mengandung mineral logam sudah dikuasai atau dikapling oleh perusahaan. Lalu, untuk pertambangan rakyat, di mana ruangnya.
Hal itu di pertanyakan Limonu Hippy, saat rapat kerja Panitia Khusus (Pansus) Pertambangan DPRD Provinsi Gorontalo bersama sejumlah Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) terkait, Rabu (14/05/2025).
Anggota dari Fraksi Gerindra ini, menekankan bahwa kondisi ini memicu konflik berkepanjangan di tengah masyarakat, bukan hanya soal lingkungan, tetapi juga tentang akses atas sumber daya alam yang selama ini menjadi sandaran hidup masyarakat lokal.
“Pemerintah harus segera mencari solusi atas persoalan ini. Masyarakat kehilangan ruang tambangnya karena wilayahnya diambil alih oleh perusahaan. Ini sudah menjadi persoalan struktural yang tak bisa dibiarkan,” tegas Limonu.
Dalam rapat tersebut, Pansus meminta OPD terkait untuk menyampaikan data resmi mengenai perizinan tambang, pembagian wilayah izin usaha pertambangan (WIUP), serta status kawasan yang masih memungkinkan untuk dijadikan Wilayah Pertambangan Rakyat (WPR).
Rapat juga menyinggung perlunya revisi atau evaluasi zonasi tambang agar tidak sepenuhnya terpusat di tangan swasta atau korporasi, serta mempertimbangkan hak dan akses masyarakat terhadap tambang secara legal dan berkelanjutan.
DPRD Provinsi Gorontalo melalui Pansus Pertambangan menyatakan komitmennya untuk mengawal kepentingan rakyat, dan akan terus mendorong agar pemerintah provinsi mengambil langkah konkrit guna mengurangi ketimpangan pengelolaan sumber daya alam antara rakyat dan perusahaan tambang besar.
