MANADO – Guna memutus mata rantai penyebaran virus Corona di Kota Manado, Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Manado melalui Dinas Perhubungan (Dishub) mengimbau para pelaku transportasi untuk membiasakan diri memakai masker saat beraktifitas.
Kepala Dishub Manado Michael Tandirerung mengatakan sesuai penegasan Walikota DR Ir GS Vicky Lumentut SH MSi DEA, seluruh warga kota agar mentaati protokol kesehatan menghadapi pandemi global Covid-19.
“Sebagai pemerintah, kami mengimbau kepada warga kota terutama mereka yang melakukan aktifitas di luar rumah, para sopir angkutan kota, pemilik kendaraan maupun para pejalan kaki dan pengguna kendaraan agar selalu memakai masker,”tukas Tandirerung.
Terkait sanksi jika kedapatan ada sopir angkot maupun penumpang kendaraan umum yang tidak memakai masker, Tandirerung tegaskan tidak ada sanksi administrasi hanya bentuk teguran dan sanksi moral.
“Sebenarnya memakai masker merupakan bentuk kesadaran bersama disaat pandemi Covid-19. Sehingga sanksi yang kami berikan hanyalah dalam bentuk teguran. Namun, saya yakin para pelaku transportasi dan masyarakat Manado memiliki kesadaran dan kepedulian,”pungkas Tandirerung. (*)
