Minsel – Polres Minahasa Selatan menggelar kegiatan Press Conference dugaan tindak pidana pencurian di areal lokasi PT SEJ (Sumber Energi Jaya) Desa Karimbow, Kecamatan Motoling Timur, Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan (Minsel).
Press Conference Polres Minsel dilaksanakan di gedung Cafetaria Endra Dharmalaksana, Senin (20/12/2021), dihadiri Kasat Reskrim Iptu Lesly Deiby Lihawa, SH,M.Kn, Kasi Humas Iptu Robby Tangkere serta sejumlah awak media cetak dan online.
“Pencurian lumpur sisa olahan emas di PT SEJ,tersangka ada 18 orang, sebagian masih dalam status buron. Babuk yang di amankan 13 karung lumpur sisa olahan material emas dan satu unit kendaraan pick up DB 8677 NA yang dipakai dalam pengangkutan”. terang Kasat Reskrim Iptu Lesly.
Untuk pasal yang dipersangkakan yaitu 363 ayat (1) ke 3 dan ke 4 KUHPidana tentang pencurian jo 55 ayat (1) ke 1 dan pasal 56 KUHPidana dengan ancaman hukuman paling lama 7 tahun.
9 dari 18 Tersangka yang sudah diamankan di Polres Minsel EP alias Ervil, RI alias Utan, SW alias Sonny, CR alias Tian, FM alias Farli, YD alias Yudi, WS alias Weldy dan AD alias Anto dan RM alias Pala.
“Para tersangka yang diamankan tercatat sebagai warga Kecamatan Motoling Timur, Kecamatan Kumelembuai dan Kabupaten Boltim. Tersangka lainnya masih dalam proses pengejaran, dan untuk adanya keterkaitan dengan oknum karyawan SEJ pihak kami akan terus berupaya untuk mengungkap kejadian perkara pencurian limbah PT SEJ pungkas Iptu Lesly.
