Tomohon,–Pejabat Sementara (Pjs) Wali Kota Tomohon, Ir Fereydy Kaligis, M.A.P., menghadiri lomba dalam rangka menyambut hari raya Natal dan gerakan ketahanan pangan dirangkai dengan kegiatan penegakan ketertiban warga binaan pemasyarakatan (WBP). Acara ini berlangsung di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Perempuan (LPP) Kelas IIB Manado, Rabu (13/11/).
Kepala Kantor Wilayah (Kanwil) Kemenkumham Sulawesi Utara, Dr. Ronald Lumbuun, S.H., M.H., dalam sambutannya menjelaskan sejumlah kegiatan yang dilaksanakan LPP Manado. Misalnya, ketahanan pangan yang merupakan salah satu program Presiden Prabowo Subianto. Ada juga penyerahan satu unit ambulance kepada Kanwil Kemenkumham Sulut untuk LPP Kelas IIB Manado. Selanjutnya, ada lomba-lomba dalam menyambut Natal.
“Kita patut mengapresiasi atas apa yang diselenggarakan LPP Kelas IIB Manado, terutama Ibu Kepala LPP dan semangat dalam melaksanakan semua kegiatan. Kiranya ambulance yang diserahkan ini dapat dipergunakan untuk kemasyarakatan, kebaikan yang optimal bagi seluruh WBP LPP Manado di Tomohon ini,” ujar Ronald.
Dihadiri Kapolres Tomohon, AKBP. Lerry Tutu, Kepala LPKA Kelas II Tomohon, Kepala LPP Kelas IIB Manado, perwakilan Polres Minahasa, Koramil Tomohon, Kejaksaan Negeri Tomohon dan Pengadilan Negeri Tondano. Hadir pula Kepala Dinas Kominfo Tomohon, Novi Politon. (*)
