SULUT – Untuk memastikan apakah penerapan Protokol Kesehatan diterapkan oleh masyarakat kota Manado, maka Pjs Gubernur Sulawesi Utara (Sulut), Dr. A. Fatoni, M.Si, meninjau penerapan protokol kesehatan di beberapa tempat di Kota Manado, pada siang dan malam hari, Minggu (27/09/2020).
Dan dalam melakukan peninjauan, Fatoni didampingi Sekretaris Daerah Provinsi Sulut Edwin Silangen, Asisten III Bidang Administrasi Umum Asiano Gemmy Kawatu, dan beberapa jajaran perangkat daerah Provinsi Sulut lainnya.
Ada sejumlah tempat yang dikunjungi, antara lain Rumah Makan, Manado Town Square, Kawasan Megamas, dan beberapa tempat lainnya yang disinyalir mengundang banyak keramaian.
“Hal ini guna memastikan agar penerapan protokol 3M (menggunakan masker, mencuci tangan, dan menjaga jarak) diterapkan oleh masyarakat Manado,” ujar Fatoni di sela-sela acara.
Seperti diketahui, angka Covid-19 di Kota Manado tergolong tinggi.Terhitung per 27 September 2020 pukul 18:00 WITA, kasus yang terkonfirmasi positif mencapai 2.019. Sedangkan pasien yang sembuh sebanyak 1551 dan 93 meninggal.
“Untuk itulah maka penerapan protokol kesehatan perlu lebih ditingkatkan. Dengan disiplin protokol kesehatan diharapkan penyebaran pandemi dapat dikendalikan dan diatasi,” tegas Fatoni
Menurut Pjs Gubernur Fatoni dimana nantinya juga akan terus melakukan peninjauan ditempat yang berbeda.(*/JM)
