Tomohon,– Pejabat Sementara (Pjs) Walikota Tomohon Ir Fereydy Kaligis MAP, membuka kegiatan Asesmen Kepala Sekolah, bertempat di AAB Guest House Matani, Selasa (19/11/2024).
Pjs Walikota mengatakan, Kepala Sekolah memiliki peran yang sangat sentral dalam pengelolaan pendidikan. Bukan hanya sebagai pemimpin administratif, tetapi juga sebagai penggerak inovasi dan teladan bagi guru serta siswa di satuan pendidikan masing masing.
“Asesmen ini adalah upaya untuk mengevaluasi sekaligus menguatkan kompetensi Kepala Sekolah dalam menjalankan perannya, baik sebagai pendidik, manager maupun pemimpin,” ujarnya.
Lanjut Kaligis, pendidikan yang berkualitas membutuhkan kepemimpinan yang kuat. Sebagaimana visi Kota Tomohon dalam dunia pendidikan, kita semua menginginkan lahirnya generasi penerus yang tidak hanya cerdas secara intelektual tetapi juga berbudi pekerti luhur.
“Kepada para peserta, saya mengajak untuk memanfaatkan kesempatan ini dengan sebaik baiknya. Jangan hanya melihat kegiatan ini sebagai sebuah evaluasi, tetapi lebih dari itu, jadikan sebagai refleksi untuk terus berkembang dan berkontribusi bagi kemajuan pendidikan di Kota Tomohon,” pintanya.(*)
