Pohuwato – Bupati Pohuwato, Saipul A. Mbuinga bersama Pimpinan General Wilayah Telkom Gorontalo, Iwan Gunawan melakukan penandatanganan MoU di agelato kafe kota gorontalo. Kerjasama antara pemda Pohuwato dengan PT. Telkom Indonesia itu berlangsung, Rabu, (1/12/2021).
Dalam sambutannya Bupati Saipul Mbuinga mengatakan, pemda pohuwato pemerintah daerah kabupaten pohuwato sekarang ini giat-giatnya melaksanakan kerjasama diberbagai sektor pembangunan. Hal ini bertujuan meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat akibat pandemi covid-19 melanda hampir seluruh dunia.
Menurut Bupati Pohuwato Saipul Mbuinga, dalam menyikapi hal ini pemerintah daerah kabupaten Pohuwato yang mempunyai luas 4.244 km2 atau 36,77 % dari total luas provinsi gorontalo, menggerakkan ekonomi masyarakat melalui pembangunan dibidang telekomunikasi dan informasi.
Hal ini salah satu yang telah kami rumuskan pada RPJMD tahun 2021-2026, dimana dalam visi dan misi kami yang tertuang dalam kebijakan umum perioritas yakni akses internet ke seluruh desa dan IKM/UKM.
Lanjut Bupati Saipul Mbuinga, kemanfaatan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi menjadi sangat dibutuhkan, untuk itu kami berupaya memberi pemerataan baik di tingkat kecamatan maupun tingkat desa.
Pemerintah daerah kabupaten pohuwato banyak berharap agar kecamatan-kecamatan yang belum terjangkau jaringan internet oleh telkom berupa kecamatan popayato group, kecamatan wanggarasi dan kecamatan taluditi di tahun mendatang mendapat perhatian khusus dari pihak telkom gorontalo,
Sehingga kerjasama yang kita lakukan hari ini berdampak besar terhadap masyarakat kabupaten pohuwato yang mendambakan akan adanya jaringan internet, disamping itu ada satu desa yang dijadikan oleh telkom sebagai pilot proyek desa digital.
