Talaud-Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Keluarga Nasional (HARGANAS) ke-32,Kementerian Kependudukan dan Pembangunan Keluarga (Kemendukbangga) melalui BKKBN RI menyelenggarakan Pelayanan Keluarga Berencana (KB) Serentak Nasional yang dilaksanakan serentak di seluruh Indonesia,pada Senin (23/06/2025).
Pembukaan kegiatan ini secara nasional dipusatkan di Kabupaten Rote Ndao, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), dan dibuka langsung oleh Menteri Kependudukan dan Pembangunan Keluarga sekaligus Kepala BKKBN RI, Dr. Wihaji, S.Ag., M.Pd.
Untuk wilayah Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, kegiatan ini terfokus di Puskesmas Kecamatan Gemeh, Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud,daerah terdepan dan terluar Indonesia.
Pelaksanaan di Talaud dihadiri langsung oleh Kepala Dinas PPKB Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud, Meike Maatuil, S.Kep., Ners., MM., beserta jajaran Pemerintah Daerah, tokoh masyarakat, tokoh agama, petugas lapangan KB, serta para kader dan tenaga kesehatan, PLKB.
Menariknya, dari sekian banyak perwakilan BKKBN di seluruh Indonesia, hanya tiga daerah yang mendapat sapaan langsung dari Menteri BKKBN RI, dan salah satunya adalah Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud,sebuah kebanggaan tersendiri bagi daerah ini.
Pemerintah Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud menyampaikan apresiasi yang tinggi kepada seluruh pihak yang telah berkontribusi dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini.
Antusiasme masyarakat pun sangat tinggi, terbukti dari jumlah peserta layanan KB yang mencapai 102 akseptor, meliputi berbagai jenis layanan seperti implan dan IUD.
Kegiatan berjalan lancar dan sukses, menjadi momentum penting dalam meningkatkan kesadaran akan peran keluarga dalam menciptakan generasi unggul, sebagai bagian dari upaya mewujudkan Indonesia Emas 2045. (*)
