Asahan,-Petugas Pemutakhiran Data Pemilih (Pantarlih) TPS V Kelurahan Selawan melakukan Pencocokan dan Penelitian (Coklit) kepada Wakil Bupati Asahan Taufik Zainal Abidin Siregar, S. Sos, M. Si beserta keluarga di Rumah Dinas Wakil Bupati Asahan, Rabu (24/07/2024).
Langkah ini sebagai salah satu rangkaian Pilkada Serentak Tahun 2024. Ini disampaikan Ketua KPU Kabupaten Asahan, Hidayat saat memulai pembicaraannya dengan Wakil Bupati Asahan.
Hidayat mengatakan, coklit juga menjadi salah satu kunci kesuksesan pemilu sebab berhubungan dengan keakuratan data pemilih. “Untuk Kabupaten Asahan coklit telah dilaksanakan sejak 24 Juni 2024 dan berakhir 24 Juli 2024 dan telah mencapai 99 %. Untuk Pilkada Serentak 2024 ini jumlah TPS di Kabupaten Asahan berkurang, yang awalnya 2449 TPS menjadi 1337 TPS”, ungkapnya.
Sementara Wakil Bupati Asahan didampingi Plt Kadis Kominfo Kabupaten Asahan, Camat Kota Kisaran Timur, Lurah Selawan, mengucapkan terima kasih kepada KPU Kabupaten Asahan, Ketua PPK Kecamatan Kota Kisaran Timur, Panwascam Kota Kisaran Barat dan PPS Kelurahan Selawan yang telah melakukan pendataan kepada saya dan keluarga. Diharapkan kepada Petugas Pantarlih se-Kabupaten Asahan, terus melakukan Coklit untuk pemuktahiran data pemilih, agar tidak terjadi kesalahan pada Pilkada tahun 2024 nantinya. “Pemkab Asahan siap bersinergi guna memperlancar jalannya Pilkada serentak tahun 2024,” pungkas Surya.
Tak lupa Wakil Bupati Asahan menghimbau kepada seluruh masyarakat Kabupaten Asahan untuk ikut membantu PPS dalam melakukan pendataan. Itu agar seluruh masyarakat Kabupaten Asahan tercatat sebagai pemilih pada Pilkada serentak tahun 2024. “Jangan sia-siakan satu suara, karena satu suara yang dimiliki dapat menentukan arah pembangunan kedepannya,” tutupnya.
