Gubernur Sulut Olly Dondokambey dan Wagub Steven Kandouw
Sulut – Gubernur Sulawesi Utara Olly Dondokambey di wakili Kepala Badan Pengelola Perbatasan Daerah (BPPD) Provinsi Sulawesi Utara mengikuti video conference (vidcon) rapat koordinasi dan evaluasi (rakorev) Tol Laut yang dilaksanakan oleh Badan Nasional Pengelola Perbatasan (BNPP), Selasa (14/7/2020).
Narasumber terdiri dari Sestama BNPP, Ditlala Kementerian Perhubungan, Kementerian Perdagangan, Kementerian Pertanian dan Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP).
Dalam rapat ini terungkap bahwa Pemda Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe akan menerima Penghargaan dari Menteri Perhubungan RI sebagai Kabupaten Terbaik Tingkat Nasional dalam optimalisasi Tol Laut.
Dalam kesempatan yang berbeda Gubernur Sulawesi Utara Olly Dondokambey apresiasi atas kerja keras Pemda kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe dan bangga telah mengangkat Citra Sulawesi Utara lebih khusus tentu Sangihe itu sendiri. Dan penghargaan ini akan di berikan pada hari Kamis 16 Juli 2020.
Diketahui, Program Tol Laut telah memberikan dampak yang sangat positif dalam menyiapkan dan menurunkan harga barang-barang kebutuhan masyarakat di perbatasan sehingga pemerintah terus melanjutkan program ini .
Dan diingatkan ada beberapa permasalahan yang perlu ditangani bersama oleh seluruh pemangku kepentingan antara lain sarana prasarana kepelabuhanan, khususnya pengembangan dermaga dan fasilitas penunjangnya serta peran Pemda untuk penanganan muatan balik yang masih minim dan usulan perubahan rute.
Kegiatan vidcon ini diikuti oleh jajaran BPPD serta Dinas Perindag Kabupaten/Kota se-Sulawesi Utara. (*/JM)
