Bitung, Redaksisulut – Wali Kota Bitung, Ir. Maurits Mantiri, MM jadi Inspektur upacara pelepasan peserta Diklat Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Angkatan V Tahun 2023 Politeknik Pelayaran Sulawesi Utara di ruang SH Sarundajang. Senin, (8/5/2023).
Dalam sambutan Wali Kota mengatakan bahwa kami Pemerintah Kota menyambut baik dan siap manopang atas kegiatan yang diselenggarakan oleh politeknik Pelayaran Sulawesi Utara.
“Kepada 150 peserta belajarlah dengan baik agar menjadi para pelaut yang handal, karena dengan disiplin saat mengikuti pelatihan akan berdampak pada masa depan kita, karena kesuksesan ada di tangan Bapak/Ibu sekalian”. Kata Wali Kota.
Dalam kesempatan Wali Kota juga mengatakan misi pemerintah Kota untuk menjadikan Kota Bitung sebagai Kota pelabuhan harus dilakukan secara bersama sama.
“Mewujudkannya kota Bitung sebagai kota pelabuhan harus dikerjakan secara gotong royong, karena itu kami pemerintah kota Bitung mengucapkan terima kasih kepada politeknik Pelayaran Sulawesi Utara atas diselenggarakan kegiatan ini”. Tambahnya.
