Pohuwato – Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) Kelas IIB Pohuwato Kanwil Kemenkumham Gorontalo menggelar kegiatan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW 1444 H dan Khatam Raya Angkatan II bagi Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan (WBP), Bertempat di Lapangan Lapas Kelas IIB Pohuwato, Selasa (25/10/2022).
Kepala Lapas Pohuwato Kelas IIB Irman Jaya menyampaikan kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman akan sejarah dan teladan Nabi Muhammad SAW kepada seluruh petugas dan WBP Lapas Pohuwato.
“Dimana pun kita berada kita harus meningkatkan iman dan taqwa guna membentuk pribadi yang ber-akhlak karimah dan jadikan Nabi Muhammad SAW sebagai suri tauladan.” Ujar Kalapas.
Kalapas berpesan walaupun berada ditempat yang terbatas, tetapi semua itu bukan menjadi alasan untuk melupakan kebaikan dan ajaran-ajaran agama, jangan tinggalkaan sholat dan selalu jauhi larangan-Nya.
Kegiatan Wisuda Khatam Raya ini merupakan ke dua kali di laksanakan. Dan di rangkaikan dengan tradisi Walima untuk memperingati Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW. “Semoga dengan terlaksananya kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan kualitas WBP serta kecintaan atas agama maupun budaya,” Ujar Kalapas.
Diketahui, kegiatan ini di awali dengan Tilawah yang di bawakan oleh seorang WBP, dan di lanjutkan dengan sambutan dan prosesi khatam raya serta wisuda.
Kegiatan diakhiri dengan pemberian cendera mata dari Karya WBP serta Hiburan persembahan sholawat modern oleh WBP.
Turut hadiri dalam kegiatan ini, Unsur Forum Komunikasi Pimpinan Daerah Kabupaten Pohuwato, Ketua Majelis Ulama Indonesia Provinsi Gorontalo sekaligus anggota DPD RI, Abdurrahman Abubakar Bachmid yang pada kesempatan ini memberikan Tausiyah Maulid Nabi SAW. (Has)
