Bitung, Redaksisulut – Kota Bitung, jadi salah satu Kabupaten/Kota yang didukung Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif Republik Indonesia, Sandiaga Uno masuk Unesco Creatibes Cities Network.
Hal ini disampaikan Kadis pariwisata Pingkan Kapoh usai menghadiri acara audiensi dan pemasaran program kota kreatif Indonesia dan persiapan usulan nominasi Creative Cities-uccn Kabupaten Ponogoro dan Kota Bitung di gedung Sapta Pesona, Jakarta Pusat. Jumat, (13/5/2022).
Dalam kesempatan Kapoh yang pada saat itu mewakili Walikota Bitung, menyampaikan paparan terkait kesiapan dan persiapan Kota Bitung untuk menjadi nominasi Unesco Creative Cities Network (UCCN) sebagai kelanjutan dari penetapan Bitung sebagai Kota kreatif subsektor kuliner oleh kemenparekraf RI.
Sementara itu, Menteri parekraf RI Sandiaga Uno dalam sambutannya menyatakan sangat mengapresiasi usaha dari tim penilaian Kabupaten Kota kreatif Indonesia (PMK3I).
“Kemenparekraf RI saat ini telah ada 108 Kabupaten Kota kreatif dan sebagai menteri Parekraf RI mendukung penuh Kota Bitung dalam proses nominasi menjadi bagian dari UCCN di bidang gastrinomi dan kabupaten Ponogoro di bidang seni pertunjukan khususnya reog”. Kata Sandiaga.
