Kotamobagu-Kabar baik bagi masyarakat Kota Kotamobagu. Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Kotamobagu resmi menghapus denda administrasi untuk Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan (PBB) sektor Perdesaan dan Perkotaan. Kebijakan ini memberikan kesempatan luas kepada para Wajib Pajak untuk melunasi kewajiban tanpa terbebani sanksi denda.
Kepala Badan Pengelola Keuangan Daerah (BPKD) Kota Kotamobagu, Pra Sugiarto Hadi Yunus, S.P., M.E., menyampaikan bahwa penghapusan denda ini telah ditetapkan melalui Surat Keputusan Wali Kota Kotamobagu Nomor 4/BPKD/SK.WK/55/2025, dan berlaku hingga 31 Desember 2025.
“Pemerintah Daerah Kota Kotamobagu memberikan kesempatan kepada seluruh Wajib Pajak di Kota Kotamobagu, untuk melakukan pembayaran Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan tanpa dikenakan denda Administrasi,” ujar Pra Sugiarto.
Ia menjelaskan bahwa kebijakan ini merupakan bentuk perhatian pemerintah daerah dalam meringankan beban ekonomi masyarakat, sekaligus sebagai langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan kesadaran pajak.
“Penghapusan Denda Administrasi PBB ini, merupakan bentuk perhatian Pemerintah Daerah Kota Kotamobagu dalam meringankan beban masyarakat, serta untuk mendorong kesadaran masyarakat dalam melunasi kewajiban pajak. Diharapkan, dengan adanya kebijakan ini, maka kesadaran masyarakat dalam membayar pajak juga akan semakin meningkat,” tambahnya.
Untuk itu, BPKD menghimbau kepada seluruh Wajib Pajak di wilayah Kota Kotamobagu agar memanfaatkan momentum ini sebaik mungkin.
“Kepada seluruh Wajib Pajak di Kota Kotamobagu, dihimbau untuk memanfaatkan kebijakan penghapusan Denda Administrasi Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan ini, sebelum tanggal 31 Desember 2025,” pungkas Pra Sugiarto.
Pemkot berharap, melalui kebijakan ini, realisasi penerimaan PBB dapat meningkat, sekaligus membangun budaya tertib pajak di tengah masyarakat. (*)
