Morut -Pasca kenaikan harga Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM), Polres Morowali Utara menggelar Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dalam menyikapi dampak sosial yang mungkin terjadi di masyarakat yang berpotensi terhadap aksi protes khususnya di wilayah Kabupaten Morowali Utara.
Wakapolres Morowali Utara Kompol H. Amri saat mewakili Kapolres Morowali Utara mengatakan, pembahasan tentang kebijakan dan keputusan pemerintah terhadap tarif kenaikan harga BBM, pihaknya bersama pemerintah daerah mengambil langkah untuk bisa menyampaikan dan mensosialisasikan kepada masyarakat bahwa, kebijakan dan keputusan pemerintah pusat sudah melalui kajian.
“Kebijakan pemerintah terkait dengan kenaikan harga BBM ini, pemerintah sudah menyiapkan kompensasi berupa bantuan sosial yang mana akan disalurkan kepada masyarkat yang lebih berhak.” Dan kami juga (Polres Morowali Utara) telah memberikan bantuan sosial berupa beras kepada tukang ojek kemarin dan hari ini.
Ia berharap dengan adanya FGD, semua bisa menyosialisasikan dan edukasi kepada masyarakat, sehingga mengerti serta memahami maksud dari kebijakan pemerintah terkait kenaikan harga BBM.
Hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut, Kabagops, Kasatbinmas, Kadis Sosial dan Ka Depot Pertamina atau yang mewakili, Ketua Komisi 2 DPRD , Seluruh kepala Spbu di Kab Morut, Pokdar, Tokoh Masyarakat, Tokoh Pemuda dan pengusaha di Kabupaten Morowali Utara.
Dari hasil giat tersebut disepakati bahwa stok BBM harus tersedia, harus dilakukan pengawasan yang ketat dalam pendistribusian BBM, penggunaan Aplikasi subsidi BBM segera disosialisasikan ke masyarakat, pemberian Bantuan nantinya harus tepat sasaran dan perlu pengawasan dari semua pihak dan diharapkan kedepan segera di bentuk Tim terpadu untuk memantau kenaikan harga-harha di pasar pasca kenaikan BBM tersebut.
