Manado – Aktivis Terry Umboh menilai kinerja Pemerintah Kota Manado dalam hal ini Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kominfo), sudah maksimal.
Parameternya, informasi mengenai program dan kegiatan Wali Kota Manado Andrei Angouw dan Wakil Wali Kota Richard Sualang (AARS), kerap tersampaikan ke masyarakat.
“Banyak sekali media menyebarluaskan informasi AARS sehingga sampai ke masyarakat. Ini tak lepas dari peran Dinas Kominfo Manado yang bekerja maksimal dan membuka diri sebagai mitra kerja wartawan,” ujar Umboh kepada wartawan via telepon, Senin (15/11/2021).
Meski demikian ia menyentil maraknya pemberitaan terkait AARS di media, akan menyebabkan efek domino yang kurang baik.
“Bisa jadi akhirnya masyarakat menjadi bosan dengan berita-berita AARS karena sifatnya seremoni. Tapi untuk urusan ini menurut saya domainnya ada di media masing-masing dan bukan tugas Kominfo mencampuri dapur redaksi media,” ungkapnya.
Sebelumnya Dr Melki Kumaat selaku Direktur Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Litbang) Komunika Sulut Media, pernah merilis data riset mengenai tingkat kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap kepemimpinan AARS.
Di mana dalam data yang dirilis menyebut tingkat kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap AARS, sangat baik.
Salah satu faktor pendukung yakni karena informasi mengenai program kerja AARS tersampaikan ke masyarakat luas melalui media. (*)
