Minut-Pendaftaran pasangan bakal calon bupati dan wakil bupati secara serentak telah dibuka, Jumat 4 – 6 September 2020. Namun, pada hari kedua pendaftaran, belum ada pasangan calon bupati dan wakil bupati yang datang mendaftar ke KPU Kabupaten Minahasa Utara.
Menurut Ketua KPU Minahasa Utara Stella Runtu mengatakan, pendaftaran telah dibuka sejak pukul 08.00 hingga 16.00 Wita. Namun belum ada pasangan calon yang datang mendaftar.
“Hari ini tidak ada pasangan calon bupati dan calon wakil bupati yang datang untuk mendaftar di sekertariat KPU Minahasa Utara,” terang Runtu, Jumat (5/9/2020).
Akhirnya, komisioner KPU Kabupaten Minahasa Utara akan kembali dibuka pada, Minggu 6 September 2020 mulai pukul 08.00 hingga 23.00 Wita.
Pada kesempatan itu hadir juga Komisioner Bawaslu Sulut Supriadi Pangellu turun untuk meninjau kesiapan KPU Minut terkait pelaksanaan pendaftaran.
Pangellu mengatakan, pelaksanaan pendaftaran calon bupati dan wakil bupati di KPU Minut dinilai sudah memenuhi PKPU no 6 tentang pelaksanaan Pilkada di masa Pandemi Covid 19.
“Sesuai dengan penilaian kami terkait Pelaksanaan pendaftaran di KPU Minut sudah sesuai dengan standart protokol Covid-19”, jelas Pangellu.
Berdasarkan data dilapangan, ada 3 pasang bakal calon yang telah menyatakan diri untuk maju sebagai calon bupati dan wakil bupati Minahasa Utaran. Selain pasangan Joune Ganda – Kevin Lotulung yang sudah mendaftar, jumat (4/9), ada juga pasangan calon Shintia Gelly Rumumpe – Netty Agnes Pantow (SGR – NAP) serta pasangan Sompie Singal – Joppy Lengkong (SS-JL) yang diusung koalisi partai Golkar, PAN dan Hanura.
Meski tidak ada pasangan calon yang mendaftar dihari kedua ini, namun Pilkada Minut hampir dipastikan akan diikuti tiga pasang calon. Terkonfirmasi pasangan SGR – NAP akan mendaftar minggu besok pukul 13.00, sama seperti SS-JL yang dapat dipastikan akan mendaftar besok. (T3)
