Morut-Bupati Morowali Utara (Morut), Dr dr Delis Julkarson Hehi MARS, mengatakan, bumi tepo asa aroa yang tersohor di dunia dengan berbagai kekayaan alamnya yang melimpah, hanya akan bisa maju dan berkembang jika Tuhan senantiasa menolong.
“Banyak Negara di dunia memiliki kekayaan alam yang besar, tetapi rakyatnya miskin. Kita bersyukur, dengan Kebaktian Pembaruan Iman Nasional (KPIN) seperti ini, Tuhan akan semakin memberkati Morut karena memiliki rakyat yang berdoa dan beriman kepada Tuhan,” ujar Bupati Delis, saat memberikan sambutan dalam KPIN yang digelar di Lapangan Persimas Tomata Kecamatan Mori Atas, Kabupaten Morut, Senin (21/08/2023) malam.
Ia mengaku gembira karena KPIN yang diselenggarakan STEMI (Stephen Tong Evangelistic Ministries International) di bawah pimpinan Pastor Stephen Tong ini, memilih Morut sebagai salah satu lokasi kegiatannya.
Kata dia, khusus di Sulteng STEMI akan mengunjungi tiga kota, yakni Tomata (Morut), Tentena (Poso) dan Luwuk (Banggai).
Tomata sendiri menjadi kota ke-187 yang dikunjungi hingga saat ini.
Bupati Delis, mengatakan, sejak 2023 kegiatan kerohanian di lingkungan Pemda Morut semakin digiatkan, guna mengokohkan iman dan kepercayaan kepada Tuhan serta memupuk rasa persaudaraan di antara sesama umat beragama dan internal umat yang ada.
“Saat saudara-saudara ASN beragama Islam mengunjungi masjid-masjid untuk sholat Jumat, maka ASN beragama Kristen berkumpul untuk mengadakan ibadah di setiap Jumat itu,” ujarnya.
Ia berharap, visi Pemerintahan Delis-Djira yakni terwujudnya Morut yang sehat, cerdas dan sejahtera (SCS), akan cepat tercapai, dengan semakin giatnya masyarakat menunaikan ibadah sesuai dengan agama dan kepercayaannya masing-masing.
Pastor Stephen Tong dalam KPIN tersebut, mengobarkan semangat sekitar 1.000 jemaat yang hadir untuk membarui iman dan mengubah arah dan fokus hidupnya selalu kepada Tuhan dengan menjaga kekudusan dan kesucian hidup.
“Tanda kebangunan rohani yang sejati adalah kesucian,” ujar Pastor Stephen Tong, sekaligus juga mendengarkan kesaksian dari Jimmy Pardede itu.
Hadir dalam KPIN tersebut, Ketua TP PKK Morut, Febriyanthi Hongkiriwang Ssi Spt, Anggota DPRD Morut, Djon Fikles Pehopu, serta sejumlah tamu undangan lainnya. (Hms/NAL)
