Morut-Ketua Tim Penggerak (TP) PKK Kabupaten Morowali Utara (Morut), Febriyanthi Hongkiriwang, Ssi Apt, menyerahkan bantuan stimulan berupa bibit untuk ibu-ibu PKK yang ada di Kecamatan Mamosalato.
Bantuan bibit untuk tanaman pekarangan itu, diserahkan dalam acara sederhana di Kantor Desa Tanasumpu, Mamosalato, Sabtu (1/04/2023) sore.
Febriyanthi Hongkiriwang, dalam sambutan singkatnya, mengemukakan, bantuan bibit tersebut ditujukan agar ibu-ibu terdorong dan lebih giat dalam memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah.
“Bantuan ini tidak seberapa nilainya. Ini dimaksudkan untuk menggairahkan ibu-ibu agar lebih semangat dalam memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah masing-masing,” jelas istri Bupati Delis itu.
Memanfaatkan pekarangan, lanjutnya, menimbulkan banyak faedahnya, asalkan dikelola dengan baik. Selain bisa membantu ekonomi keluarga, juga bisa mencegah stunting.
Kata dia, selain itu memanfaatkan tanaman pekarangan juga berarti mendekatkan pasar di rumah masing-masing.
“Maksudnya kita tidak perlu lagi pergi ke pasar untuk beli sayur, karena sudah tersedia di halaman rumah sendiri,” kata Ketua PMI Morut.
Feby, menambahkan, selain mendorong memanfaatkan pekarangan, PKK Kabupaten Morut juga berusaha meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu-ibu melalui berbagai pertemuan dan seminar dengan mendatangkan pembicara yang kompeten.
“Salah satu tema yang cukup menarik, adalah bagaimana mendidik anak di era digital saat ini, ” jelas Feby.
Penyerahan bantuan stimulan di Mamosalato itu, turut dihadiri Sekretaris PKK Morut, Habrin, Ketua PKK Kecamatan Mamosalato dan ibu-ibu setempat. (Rls/NAL)
