MANADO – Meskipun industri pariwisata Manado belum berlangsung normal karena adanya pandemi Covid-19, namun obyek wisata Taman Laut Bunaken harus terjaga kelestariannya.
Pasalnya, salah satu destinasi wisata andalan Kota Manado tersebut, masih diminati wisatawan baik lokal maupun mancanegara.
“Kita mengakui jika Taman Laut Bunaken masih menjadi salah satu primadona pariwisata Manado dan menjadi tujuan wisatawan ketika datang di Manado. Sehingga, kita perlu menjaga dan melestarikan aset wisata ini, walaupun sekarang ini belum banyak turis yang datang akibat pandemi global Covid-19,”tukas Pemerhati Kota Manado Djamal Sasoeng SE
Menurutnya, untuk menjaga kelestarian Taman Laut Bunaken, tidak hanya tanggung jawab pemerintah melalui Dinas Pariwisata, namun menjadi tanggung jawab bersama masyarakat Kota Manado.
“Saya rasa masyarakat harus ikut bertanggung jawab untuk ikut serta melestarikan Taman Laut Bunaken. Makanya, sudah tepat apa yang dilakukan Pemerintah Kota Manado lewat Dinas Pariwisata dengan membentuk kelompok sadar wisata atau Pokdarwis,”tukas Sasoeng. (*)
