Morut – Koordinator Divisi Hukum KPU Republik Indonesia Hasyim Ash’ari SH,MSi,Ph.D, mengunjungi Morowali Utara Minggu (18/4/2021). Kedatangannya tersebut disambut tarian Lumense di Bandar Udara Maleo, Morowali, Desa Umbele, Kecamatan Bumi Raya sebagai prosesi adat penghormatan kepada tamu besar.
Ketua KPU Morowali Utara Yusri Ibrahim mengatakan kunjungan KPU RI tersebut untuk melakukan monitoring dan supervisi tentang kesiapan pelaksanaan Pemungutan Suara Ulang (PSU) dalam rangka Pilkada Morowali Utara 2020. “Sekaligus memantau pelaksaan PSU” ujarnya.
Ia mengatakan sebelumnya dari KPU Provinsi telah mengunjungi Morowali Utara untuk melakukan kegiatan yang sama.
Diharapkan dengan ketatnya supervisi dan monitoring tersebut, kemudian bimbingan teknis yang secara terus menerus kepada penyelenggara di tingkat bawah yaitu PPK, PPS dan KPPS.
“PSU ini bisa maksimal tidak ada lagi kesalahan, sehingga seluruh masyarakat baik Paslon nomor urut 1 (Satu) dan nomor urut 2 (Dua) bisa menerima hasilnya,” harapnya.
Dia menambahkan rombongan KPU RI tersebut sebanyak 10 orang yang dipimpin Koordinator Divisi Hukum Hasyim Ash’ari dan Kepala Biro Hukum Ismail SH. Setelah penyambutan rombongan kemudian menuju Desa Peboa, Kecamatan Petasia Timur untuk memantau kesiapan TPS dalam melaksanakan PSU, Senin 19 April 2021 besok. (Johnny)
