Kedua pasangan calon ini disambut Ketua DPC PDI Perjuangan Drs Hironimus Rompas Makagansa MSi, Sekretaris DPC Ferdy Sondakh SE, Bendahara DPC Denny Roy Tampi SE, Ketua ODC Benhur Takasihaeng SE, Anggota DPRD terpilih Erlando Silangen, Kader dan Fungsionaris Partai, Tokoh Agama dan Tokoh Masyarakat .
Didampingi pasangan masing-masing, dr Rinny Tamuntuan bersama suami tercinta dr. Fransiscus A Silangen dan Mario Seliang SE bersama istri tercinta Elysia Veronica Halim begitu khidmat mengikuti prosesi penjemputan secara adat ini.
Sebelumnya pasangan calon ini telah mengikuti pengumuman calon kepala daerah dan wakil kepala daerah di kantor Dewan Pimpinam Pusat (DPP) Partai Demokrasi Indonesia (PDI) Perjuangan di Jakarta. Usai di terima secara adat di Pelabuhan Nusatara Tahuna, kedua paslon menuju Kantor DPC PDI Perjuangan untuk melaksanakan rangkaian ibadah syukur.
Berslogan “TAMANG” pasangan calon dr Rinny Tamuntuan dan Mario Seliang SE, siap untuk bertarung pada pilkada 27 November 2024 dan akan mendaftarkan diri di Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Daerah Sangihe pada 29 Agustus 2024.(Yoss)
