Manado – Kota Manado berhasil meraih penghargaan sebagai peringkat kedua indeks kota toleran (IKT) di Indonesia tahun 2021. Hal ini dibenarkan Kadis Kominfo Manado, Erwin S Kontu, SH, Rabu (30/03) kemarin.
Diketahui, penghargaan itu sebagai hasil dari riset yang dilakukan setara Institut pada tahun 2021 dengan menilai berbagai aspek untuk kemudian memberikan Kota Manado sebagai peringkat kedua dengan nilai
6,400.
“Kami selalu menerbitkan laporan ini dengan berbasis pada riset yang serius yang ditujukan untuk mengukur kinerja kota-kota di Indonesia. Jadi bukan semata-mata mengukur kinerja walikota atau wakil walikota,” kata Direktur Eksekutif Setara Institut, Ismail Hasani, dalam sambutannya pada acara ‘Peluncuran Indeks Kota Toleran 2021’ di Jakarta, Rabu (30/3).
Adapun riset yang dilakukan Setara Institut mempertimbangkan empat variabel dengan delapan indikator sebagai tolak ukur berbasis paradigma hak konstitusional warga sesuai hak asasi manusia (HAM).
Variabel pertama, Regulasi Pemerintah dengan indikator RPJMD dan kebijakan diskriminatif. Kedua, Tindakan Nyata dengan indikator pernyataan dan tindakan nyata pemerintah kota.
Kemudian, variabel ketiga Regulasi Sosial mencakup indikator peristiwa intoleransi dan dinamika masyarakat sipil. Dan variabel keempat Demografi Sosial- Agama meliputi indikator heterogenitas dan inklusi sosial.
Sementara itu, mewakli Walikota Manado, Andrei Angouw, Kadiskominfo Manado, Erwin Kontu, SH mengucapkan terima kasih kepada warha Manado yang masih terus jaga dan pelihara hidup rukun dan toleran di Kota Manado. (*Mal)
