Sulut– Jimmy Rimba Rogi (Imba-red) maju sebagai Bakal Calon Walikota Manado periode 2025-2030.
Mantan Walikota Manado periode 2005-2008 ini, resmi mendaftarkan diri ke Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI), Partai Keadlilan Sejahtera (PKS), Partai Gerakan Indonesia Raya (Gerindra) dan Partai Persatuan Indonesia (Perindo) pada Kamis (16/05/2024).
Saat mendaftarkan diri di 4 (empat) partai tersebut Imba di dampingi para tim dan ratusan pendukung “gemoy”.
Julukan Panglima ini dielu elukan oleh warga di sepanjang ruas jalan yang dilewati rombongan, “Torang dengan Imba, ” teriak warga.
Imba diberi kesempatan untuk menyampaikan visi dan misnya. Imba yang mengusung jargon Indah, Maju , Bersih dan Aman ( IMBA), “Apa rakyat pe mau, itu yang Imba mo bekeng, rakyat harus sejahtera dan senang, “tandasnya.
Imba lebih memilih untuk mensejahterahkan warga dengan program dana lansia, dana duka, bantuan untuk rohaniawan,BPJS kesehatan untuk orang yang tidak mampu.
“Kesejahteraan rakyat itu yang utama, Rakyat senang, Imba Menang, ” tukas Imba yang dijuluki gemoynya Manado. (*/red)
