MINSEL – Puluhan rumah warga di pesisir pantai Tumpaan kabupaten Minahasa Selatan rusak berat akibat dihantam gelombang pasang air laut, Minggu (18/01/2021) sore. Bencana alam itu dipicu cuaca ekstrem yang terjadi secara menyeluruh di Sulawesi Utara.
Akibatnya ratusan jiwa saat ini masih berada di pengungsian dan mengharapkan bantuan dari pemerintah maupun relawan.
Salah satu warga yang rumahnya hancur rata dengan tanah akibat di hantam ombak besar,Jonly mengatakan dirinya dan beberapa Kepala Keluarga lainnya mengharapkan bantuan dari Pemerintah dan para relawan.
“Kami saat ini sangat membutuhkan topangan doa serta bantuan dari pemerintah dan masyarakat yang berkerelaaan. Karena saat ini kami sementara mengungsi di kerabat kami,” Ujar Jonly warga desa Tumpaan Satu.
Sementara itu, Pejabat Hukum Tua Desa Tumpaan Satu Hansye Mintalangi SH,saat di hubungi media ini mengatakan bahwa pihaknya akan berusaha membantu masyarakat desa Tumpaan Satu yang rumahnya rusak rata tanah di terjang ombak. Juga puluhan rumah yang rusak saat air laut naik di permukiman warga.
“Kami berharap kiranya topangan doa dan bantuan dari seluruh masyarakat yang berkerelaaan membantu masyarakat di desa Tumpaan Raya yang saat itu hancur di terpa ombak. Bantuan yang di perlukan berupa makanan jadi,sembako dan terlebih bahan bangunan untuk membuat kembali puluhan rumah yang hancur saat bencana ekstrem beberapa hari yang lalu,” Ujar Mintalangi. (QQ)
