SULUT – Dalam rangka mencegah penyebaran Covid-19 di ruang publik, Pemerintah Provinsi Sulawesi Utara dibawah kepemimpinan Gubernur Olly Dondokambey mengerahkan sejumlah personel Satpol PP, untuk mengawasi penerapan protokol kesehatan (prokes) di ruang publik seperti mal serta ikut mendukung kelancaran pelaksanaan rapid test bagi pengunjung mal di Manado.
Apabila didapati pengunjung mal belum melakukan rapid test maka petugas Satpol PP akan mengarahkan yang bersangkutan ke tempat rapid test untuk mengikuti rapid test.
Para personel Satpol PP Pemprov Sulut selain mengawasi penerapan prokes juga mengedukasi masyarakat tentang prokes agar selalu disiplin pakai masker dan menjaga jarak.
Seperti di salah satu mal, personel Pol PP yang bertugas tak kenal lelah mengingatkan setiap pengunjung agar selalu memakai masker dan mencuci tangan.
