Sitaro -Pemerintah Kabupaten Kepulauan Siau Tagulandang Biaro (Sitaro) menggelar apel bersama dalam rangka memperingati Hari Kesehatan Nasional (HKN) ke-59 Tahun 2023, Rabu (8/11/2023).
Apel yang berlangsung di Tugu Pala Halaman Kantor Bupati ini, di pimpin Penjabat Bupati Sitaro Drs Joi E B Oroh, dan di hadiri Sekretaris Daerah Drs Denny D Kondoj M.Si, Staf Ahli Bupati, para Asisten, Kepala Dinas Kesehatan dan Kepala Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD).
Dalam sambutannya Bupati Oroh mengatakan bahwa Hari Kesehatan Nasional adalah peringatan tahunan yang diperingati sejak 12 November 1964 sebagai bentuk penghargaan atas keberhasilan Indonesia dalam memberantas wabah malaria yang melanda sebagian besar wilayah Indonesia dari tahun 1959 hingga 1963.
“Dengan mengusung tema “Transformasi Kesehatan Untuk Indonesia Maju” diharapkan dapat memotivasi seluruh komponen bangsa dapat mempromosikan gaya hidup sehat melalui kolaborasi lintas sektor dalam mewujudkan Indonesia yang lebih sehat.”Ucap Bupati Oroh.
Bupati Oroh berharap melalui kegiatan ini tidak hanya kebersamaan dan kreativitas saja yang akan terbangun, namun juga komitmen untuk memberikan pelayanan kesehatan yang berkualitas kepada masyarakat, terutama kepada mereka yang mungkin belum terjangkau oleh fasilitas kesehatan yang memadai.
Usai pimpin apel tersebut, Bupati Oroh melepas mobil bantuan air bersih untuk masyarakat terdampak bencana kekeringan yang merupakan rangkaian kegiatan HKN yang diselenggarakan oleh Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Sitaro.
Akan dilaksanakan juga beberapa kegiatan seperti, bakti sosial berupa pengobatan gratis kepada warga masyarakat Siau dan Tagulandang, kegiatan olahraga dan kesenian, lomba video promosi kesehatan di sosial media, dan zumba party.
Turut hadir dalam apel peringatan HKN ke-59 ini,Ikatan Dokter Indonesia Kabupaten Sitaro, Direktur RSUD Lapangan Sawang, para Camat se-Siau, Kepala Puskesmas dan para undangan lainnya. (*/heri)
